The Best Ultimate Elevator Speech that uber-pwns all other Elevator Speeches!

My Elevator Speech is called "Specifics of Application". I've chiseled this down to being able to deliver it in 15 seconds. I love it and am interested and psyched about practicing it more. Everytime I've practiced it, I've gotten great "reviews". Great Reviews from an elevator speech means:

1) If I tell the person it's an elevator speech and I'm approaching it from the POV of evaluating my elevator speech as opposed to the content of it where I'd be selling my coaching, they say it's impressive or "a good one" (Ronnie Noize). So that rocks!

2) Selling success, allure, or interest. This is applying the elevator speech and selling the content. This type of success creates a prospective client's interest in my coaching!

What I like about it:
  • It's Fast. 15-Seconds
  • It's a gift. Applying how "specifics of application" is meta, bit to the client weaves in the client's unique perspective and literally on the spot gives them a change and insightful way of looking at their positive quality to make it even better.
  • It conveys what areas I target. I reveal what areas I could help them work on (this should catered to any issues that may be relevant) but generally I'll mention relationships, health, career, emotions.
  • It communicates what I do through Show and Tell. By warping their perspective value into making them see that what I do is help them make distinctions to even better apply positive values of their life, I've Shown them what I do. And I Tell them what I do by mentioning goal-setting and outcome achievement. Additionally it reveals my technical style and application of change technologies to create change.
  • It's Unique to the prospective client. 1/3 of the elevator speech "gets inside" the prospective client's model of the world and I use their positive value in the example of creating empowering change and specifically applying positive perspectives to ensure there's not too much or too little.
What I do.
I'm a validation coach and
What areas I work on
I helping people achieve their outcomes and goals in career, relationships, spirituality, and healthy [AREAS CATERED TO PROSPECT'S POTENTIAL ISSUES] to which you aspire and deserve, utilizing transformational technology and operating from YOUR agenda, your vision.
Sample of their perspective value
For example, what's one value one that you hold in high regard? What's an empowering perspective that is rewarding and empowering to you? Some quality that provided you with guidance and empowerment?
[BLAH -- They say their perspective]
Specifics of application "Gift-Insight-Freebie"
See, that's awesome BLAH is a terrific perspective, but I'm all this technoology unique to my coaching practice, called specifics of application. You can have too much or too little of BLAH, warping it into a disempowering perspective. [QUICK EXAMPLE OF HOW WRONG PROPOPRTIONS OR APPLICATIONS OF BLAH COULD BE DESTRUCTIVE]. So without specifics of application, BLAH could become a destructive creator of obstacles. That's why I'm always about specifics of application. It's how you sharpen your awareness to apply your awesome value of "BLAH", the correct doses, applications, and amounts of BLAH; it's specifics of application of BLAH in the best context. Now, that enriches your already empowering quality so now with specifics of application BLAH provides you with even more empowering success and results!

Optional Example
I remember one time in my life consistency was a core value of mine. I had tremendous reverence for consistency but it wasn't applied with specifics and caused me to avoid doing things because there were too many variables. I couldn't go swimming because their wouldn't be enough constant, there'd be too many variables and my excellent value of consistency became warped into something disempowering, something that created obstacles.

Advanced Coach AC110: Challenging Clients

Advanced Coach AC110: Challenging Clients
Ronnie Noise
This is pretty off topic but it does propose an alternative viewpoint to the question of uniquely or "colorfully" ;) challenging clients. And that was "screamers". LOL! We started discussing corporate clients who scream apparently. Now, the idea of corporate managers screaming like literally increasing the loudness of their voice and shouting was an entirely new, fascinating, and hilariously amusing topic.

New. Wait, what? It's common for corporate managers to scream? Scream at whom coworkers? People lower in the hierarchy? Are they screaming during a sales pitch? Because someone doesn't meet a standard? How common is this? Does it only happen in small startups or like in huge Fortune 500 hundred comapnies? The discussion made it sound like screamers in corporations was common. I did not know this. Is the screamer's intention to try to (albeit a maladaptive approach) scare someone into changing or taking action differently? Or is it a reactionary result of stress?

Fascinating. Here's the part that was so catchy. I scream. I personally relate to the screaming! I don't scream at people, but I do scream. Sometimes it's in a pillow or in a car or in some encapsulated environment. Always in a place where I wont' disturb others. NOT disturbing others with my screaming is important. If I feel that i'll disturb someone with my screaming, I won't do it. However I do "practice" these kind of "controlled screams". It's something that I always consciously choose to do. This sounds VERY bizarre, but if I'm angry or stressed or confused about something, I'll kind of "make an appointment with myself" to have a screamfest, a scream-session about that topic that feels overwhelming. Or heck, I've had "scream sessions" specifically about very positive things and screaming in that sense is a kind of rejoice. Personally, I'm sure they're some downsides to it, but the benefits to me are basically stress release as well as it changes the texture of my voice. It's simultaneously an auditory and a kinesthetic (screaming is kinesthetic because it involves your body) pattern interrupt. It's very controversial, but I think in a controlled, organized, non-disruptive application screaming can be very positive. A lot of animals actually vocalize for digestion and other core physiological needs. In a controlled organized nondisruptive context screaming simply becomes another kind of physiological workout I think. I've done marathon training and have a set exercise routine. There's nothing wrong with exercise. Exercise aligns you, makes you feel clear, and creates body-mind mastery. Whether that exercise be swimming 800m in a pool, running 2-3 miles outside, lifting a few weights, or....maybe even screaming for 5-10 minutes. I think this is very interesting.

Hilarous. Just the topic of conversation to casually discuss corporate managers and partners or workers that scream and the image of that, was highly goofy and amusing.

People from London, Italy, New York, Germany, California (Laguna Beach, LA), South Dakota.

That's so aweosome how TRULY, genuinely, international this is! I love that! Why? Because you know it's safe!

What I'm Learning

Not Everyone is Coachable at a certain time in their life.
"Not willing to take action."
"May need therapy."
"Active abuser of drugs or alcohol not coachable."
"Not an actual goal of their own."
"They aren't ready."

Reason's why Someone could Potentially not be Coachable
If coach feels values will be compromised as coaches.
Schedule Conflicts (different time zones).
Language barrier.
Personal incompatibilities of agenda.
An element of trust is not present.
They adapt to your coaching technique and kind of learn and exhaust your tricks and techniques. Basically diminishing returns. Client Outgrows the Coach.
The Coach must specialize in a certain time or phase of the goal achievement.
All Coaching is Catch and Release. There isn't a client that lasts forever.
The client doesn't want to work towards goals or refuses anymore.
The client hits a wall.
A measuring system can't be established. (A measuring system or scale for progress to measure progress of success towards the goal must be achieved).
The client becomes "Dependent" In the client. The client can and should certainly feel emotionally invested in the coach. And feeling even addicted to coaching is

Screaming. Sometimes the client screams because it's an alleviation of pressure.

Corporate
Questions/Discussion

I think I might like to work the corporate niche! The screamers. The guys under a lot of immense pressure running a business. The people who make their own rules and then have the most assiduou

regarding Ronnie Noize.
I checked out her site and saw that she's a marketing expert. That's EXACTLY what I need. Marketing. I've focused on content nonstop so this emphasis on marketing will be terrific. not sure how we pick peer coahes? are the peer coaches other students or facilitator-instructors? If you can pick instructors ronnie would be awesome peer coach for my interests.

I MUST network with earners. If I continue to relate to "thinkers"and people who want you to change your values or missions or career I'll literally go insane. That's all I've done. It's time to start earning. I've done a massvie MASSIVE enormous amount of work. And it's time for me to start making money to profit financially from this work. Of course I'll keep up the productivity and health and great things from work, but it's time for me to start making it financially profitable as well.

Foundation Coaching FC102: Perspective 2

w/Ronnie Noize

"What if you asked to be born?"

This is a fascinating question. It sparks and generates allusions to fate, destiny, and having a life mission and purpose. With questions like "Am I just feeling out life?" Did I signup for life to "Investigate life?" It makes you cognizant with your relationship to life! You start to think, "Did I ask to be born because I wanted to party and life's a party?" or What about a mission or purpose, "Did I ask to be born to complete or accomplish something, like a life mission?" In many ways, this question is a seriously effective motivational epiphany!.

Here's an interesting, albeit subtle, shift in the question:

What if you WERE asked to be born?"

Now that intrinsically changes the frame of the question as it catalyzes and inner dialogue of question like "Did someone or something request that I was born?" "What created the interest in someone to specifically request that I be born?" Wow very unique and different frame there. Personally, I prefer the "original" "..if you asked..." but either is a state change of utilizing perspective.

I'm glad I asked to be born! :D

The International Nature of the Classes.
Undoubtedly, being from a certain area of the world does not mean that they'll always have the same perspective and or approach, however, I noticed a lot of very useful comments from the people from New York. I think New York has a kind of Type A, driver, let's get things done personality associated with it. I like that and need that. When the facilitator, Ronnie Wood, asked a very open-ended question a lot of people branched and spiraled out into these abstact cool ideas and the New York contributor, Nancy, I think, simply said "You know that's a terrific question. I wrote that down for future use. Here's why I thought it was great....etc". It's always from the frame of how can I use this for future use! I like that moving forward frame. I've been stuck in the "Am I doing the right thing?" frame. Time to graduate from that into the "How can I move forward with lifecoaching?" frame. That's a terrific frame that will bring me success and I think the cool kind of New Yorker getting things done mentality will be conducive to that as well!

Your Empowering perspective: Specifics of Application (My Elevator Speech)
Specifics of Application is my Ultimate empowering perspective as far as I can tell. I've had an evolution of empowering perspectives. Last year I was all about precision, navigation, and freedom. Those were the most empowering values for me. However, I've recently realized that "Specifics of Application" is the empowering perspective that I consider to be "meta-" to any other perspective like "exploring", "freedom", "choice", "authenticity", "any other perspective". Why? Because any empowering perspective can by improportionately applied. "Action" is a terrific empowering perspective but too much action without enough planning is disempowering. "Exploring" is an empowering perspective but exploring without learning or exploring in the same circle is disempowering. Therefore, specifics of application is the meta-empowering perspective. I also just realized that "Specifics of Application" will be my elevator speech. I can take any strength or focus someone has and integrate in "specifics of application" to make them realize that they can even improve on that. So that's my edge. I'm psyched

Synopsis
Life feels good and easy and valuable and enough challenge to feel accomplished and very smooth now. It's a terrific feeling.

My key essential perspective is "Specifics of Application".

Condemning or Disempowering Perspectives hold
Victimization
Judgement
Fear
Regret

The Goal is to shift them from Disempowering State to an Empowering State. Questions conducive towards that (yes. coaches do have goals as well!).

Clients frequently don't know how close they are to that state of confidence even though they may feel in a state of fear or uncertainty.

Responsibility Frame!
This one is Great.

1. Tell the client to frame the situation, the problem, the source of fear as-if it is entirely someone else's fault. 100% someone else's fault. Ask them to describe the details of how they hold 0% responsibility and how other people are 100% at fault and to blame and their responsibility. (Of course this is all purely hypothetical because fault, blame, and responsibility are really not present in the lucidity of high-level living ; However for hypothetical sake of this exercise).

2. THEN tell the client to describe how their 100% at fault. How how was it your personality characteristics, your strengths were in some kind of way the cause of the incompatibility or why this did or didn't work. Get the client to explain why they're entirely at fault

3. Ask them to describe the good, the life lesson, the empowering long-term result of this failure or this dilemma or this problem.

So that Responsibility Frame is a VERY useful transformation tool.

"What if you were asked to be born?"
motivational epiphany
feeling out life?
being aware of your gifts
want to enjoy life
did I want to join the party of life?
do I have a specific life mission?
did I want to investigate life? like what is this life thing? is that why I asked to be born?
it's definitely an awesome question that has allusions to fate and destiny and have a purpose and life mission.

Why I'm Stoked about Lifecoaching Training!

I can't get over how awesome this is. Namely for the following reasons:

1. Health. This SERIOUSLY has got to be one of the most aligning and emotionally healthy experiences possible. I mean talking with a coach is inspiring, and becoming a coach is empowering, but interacting and exchanging with the hub of coaches becoming coaches, coaching each other and it's like 100% pure premium motivational energy in it's raw form! All the law of attraction and intention weaved in to with the enthusiasm of other coaches and that nourishes your own enthusiasm and wow. Exponential growth. Rad. Gnarly to the nth degree.

2. Success Stories. This is the biggest reason why this forum looks so appealing. The success stories. I've perused it for an hour and already have found 2 real-awesome bona fide tricks that seemed to work for two coaches (the facebook advert one and a mailing list one) and everyone's eager to share this techniques that helped them earn for free! This is awesome. After stumbling into scams and tons of misleading crap, this finally seems like exactly the type of good, clean, clear, business networking for earning and for success.

3. Moving Forward. Starting this ICA training was DEFINITELY a good move. From the internationality of all the coaches and networking and seeing all their success stories and the fact that they share their techniques within this forum is tremendously exciting.

4. Reality. I have zero doubt of this being some hoaky scam or something. I can tell from this forum that all of these people are real coaches sharing their success in a coaching community. I think the intention is simple and extremely good.

5. I finally found some peer-friends! I've been through a lot and it's been difficult for me to connect with and find work-friends! I've been pursuing coaching for awhile but this is most definitely my first total immersion in the coaching world and I instantly feel at home!

6. I just learned that you can retake classes again (like 10 years later if I wanted to) from the Welcome message from the dude with the awesome aussieness? That's rad!!! That solves the massive problem I had with acting classes and most ALL other types of classes -- that of the students and the whole networking completely vanishing and obliterating after graduation day! It sounds like the networking and business growth and has longevity after the end of the classes and training which is awesome.

7. Self-Assessment. I've been scrutinizing the self-assessment stuff and this is the coolest thing "You get to mark your own attendance"?! That's awesome because it even moreso frames the experience as something that you drive and flexibly take the classes on your own schedule and even log your own attendance and grade your own blog?! That's so awesome. Talk about self-directed study and expansive learning!

8.
Hearing all the Coach Voices. I love how the fellow lifecoach students like create almost ALL of the content within the class. THAT has got to be the best part about it because really I could get a hold of a recording or book and hear what one person has to say; they're strategies. But it's sooo rare (and very cool) to hear a forum of coaches commenting on the same lifecoaching question in which you get to contribute as well. Awesome.

9. Class structure. I LOVE the teleclasses. That format is tremendously liberating and in a lot of college classes I think I participated in "mind-reading" which confused and discombobulated me. I feel incredibly comfortable in the teleclasses and will and do absorb the information and material MUCH more effectively because instead of having to put time into creating an image or worrying about visible focuses of others, I can fully immerse my mind and metnally focus on them ateiral and listenign to the other students, and it's awesome. In many ways, because of the flexibility, international nature (you're plugging into the ENTIRE world when people are calling from multiple continents) of the students, and the fact that it's all audio (and a bit visual with the readings) is tremendously awesome.

10. There's more validity points, but this is great for now Very Happy.
